About Tigger's Nurseries
At Tigger's Nurseries, we provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where children are comfortable and happy. The welcoming sense of family and belonging at Tigger's Nurseries ensures all children grow and develop in our care.
We provide effective socialisation for every child and believe that this allows individuals to develop a sense of independence. Children are encouraged to be sociable and develop friendships during their time at nursery. They explore their natural surroundings with careful, structured supervision which helps every child to feel included and successful.
At Tigger's Nurseries, everyone is treated equally irrespective of race, religion, gender, origin or culture. Through play and active learning, we promote social, emotional, physical, linguistic and intellectual skills in a safe environment. We firmly believe in demonstrating care and affection to provide a sense of belonging and well-being for each child.
Tigger's Nurseries caters for children aged between birth and five years. The nurseries operate between the hours of 8:00am and 5:50pm, Monday to Friday.
No matter where you are coming and going from, both of our nurseries are close to the town centres and are open 50 weeks out of the year. Each is situated on a large plot of land and is home to plenty of outdoor, natural playscapes, and a private car park to make your drop-off and pick-up experience as easy as possible. When choosing your child’s nursery, we know that it is important for you to trust who you are leaving your children with.
Safety is the top priority at both of our nurseries. You’ll feel safe leaving your children here to learn knowing we have 4k cameras installed in all of the indoor and outdoor play areas. We also have a designated entry for parents who can only enter via an advanced technology fingerprint entry system.
Both locations are long-term members of the National Day Nurseries Association and are registered with OFSTED. Our credentials do not end there though. We have won the National Nursery Recognition Awards for Communication with Parents and have been awarded the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award, the Sun Safe Accreditation, and the Healthy Food for Life Award. Beyond that, we are Forest School Approved (with a level-3 qualified Forest School Leader) and are currently working towards our Curiosity Approach Accreditation.
